We had everything we needed and the home was very tidy and clean.
We were concerned there wasn’t a curtain to stop the shower water from going all over the tiled floor in the en-suite. But we did manage to keep it to a minimal!

We are now home in Australia.
We very much enjoyed staying in your house. The location was perfect for touring the region: we visited villages, vineyards and seaside towns. We loved Mèze in particular and the beach at Sète. It was very relaxing to come back to the house and cool off with a dip in the pool before dinner. We found the location of the house was very peaceful, but ideal for its proximity to Pèzenas. We would have no hesitation recommending your lovely home to our friends.

We all enjoyed the stay at Villa Syrah. We liked the location – both in Lezignan and the fact that it is close to Pezanas and easy to get to other locations (we went to Carcassonne; Montpellier, Millau etc)
Thanks you for making the bicycle available and the table football!! It was also nice to have a pool – although we only used that once. A lot of useful information was also provided in the villa.
We struggled a little using the cooker and dishwasher on our first night. We also struggled with the TV and I’m still not sure we had access to all the channels that were available!! So, maybe being met by a representative would have been helpful – although Caroline had offered to send her husband, in her absence.
We liked the fact that you contacted us personally – it offered us reassurance prior to our trip – thanks for your help.
All in all we enjoyed our stay and if in the area would visit Villa Syrah again.

Thanks for nice comments which I intend to copy on the website in full.
For the devices, Olivier, Stephanie’s husband could have help you, you were too kind to decline his visit which is part of the welcoming, visitors are of course always met by one or the other just after arrival after agreing on proper time.

Many thanks Herve, we had a really lovely time.
I have only a couple of small suggestions which may help future families who are lucky enough to visit. Some plastic glasses would be useful for around the pool and some sort of rubber mat in the garage bathroom would help as it is very slippery in there for little ones.

First of all, we went back home after a very good two weeks.
The weather was nice and warm the first week (wonderful for the pool).
The second week was still good but without this great heat.
We drank very good wine and visited very good restaurants.
(Franck Putelat in Carcassone, Octopus in Beziers, Cot Mas, Lauzun in Gignac, Presbytery in Vailhan etc)
We visited the “marches” and cooked with excellent and fresh products.
We discovered a bakery with wood fire in Canet and visited many beautiful places.
It was like God in France.
With this beautiful house – a perfect vacation.
We met Olivier and Raphael – friendly and funny and we drank a beer together.
We look forward to returning next year.

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner, very busy at work after our wonderful week away!
The villa was absolutely outstanding everything we could have wished for.
Lovely little village, fresh bread and croissants from the little baker shop every morning, weather was great, lots of exploring, sampled some wine and discovered the wonderful port of Meze.
Outstanding week will need to look at available dates for next year when I know my time off.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Villa Syrah and thought the village and surrounding area was one of the nicest places we have been in France. We have over the years been to almost every department in France but never to Pezenas. In fact we liked it so much we are considering a move from The Limousin to the Pezenas area.
The house was charming and very comfortable indeed, and we would like to thank you for allowing our little dog to stay. If there was one thing that would have made it any better, then we would have perhaps liked a small fridge in the downstairs area so that we could use it for our barbecues and to chill the wine. (We ate all our meals outside).

Nous avons passé une semaine comme un rêve avec temps parfait, avec excursions très intéressantes et on a très bien mangé.
Alors, maintenant en anglais:
Two things we have to ask:
How you can start the hood in the kitchen? – we didn´t know how to do it – technical amateur!!
The lightning in the bigger bathroom could be a little more bright and in addition one of the bulbs was broken.
But really, that was not a problem.
Finally one question:
We would be very glad if it were possible to rent the house for one or two weeks again in June 2017.

We enjoyed our stay at Villa Syrah, it was well equipped. The weather was OK and the scenery was lovely in the region, particularly the Cirque de Navacelles, that was truly amazing.
One suggestion – the provision of liquid soap for guests would be good, that is a strange thing to have to buy for one week, that would be helpful.

We had a very happy stay in your villa thank you and are now enjoying a week in ….
We visited le jardin Saint Adrien which was beautiful but did not stay for the horses and the music. The only suggestion I have would be to put in the information the most appropriate setting on the dishwasher as we found the symbols a little confusing. But it is a minor point as the villa really was perfect and thank you for allowing us to use it.

Maison de village idéale pour de bonnes vacances
Une très belle maison, conforme aux photos et très agréable. Un design raffiné. Bref, avec la piscine chauffée pas grand-chose à redire. Maison propre et fonctionnelle. Un propriétaire disponible et à l’écoute. Si je reviens dans la région, c’est sûr je reprends la maison si disponible.

Très bien et confortable .avec charme et originale style. Pour être positif et ne pas concorder on penser suivent. 1. il n’est pas un lumière de hors pour ouvert le port dans le soir / nuit. 2 .l’idea est bon pour cache le évier dans le placard mais il est un peu difficile pour utilise quand on cuire. 3.les lumières dans le salle de manger sont un peu brille (je suis un photographie est plus sensible) mais peut être un interrupteur variable sera très facile ? Les remarques en haut sont applique pour reste dans le hiver ( les nuits noirs ) et je pense que tout est différent dans l’été. On aime Villa Syrah tout est très accessible a les amicale boulanger, et le petite magasins. On recommandera a les amis et famille. Merci a vous Geoff & Pauline.

Merci Geoff pour ce commentaire positif et constructif. Je l’ai fais suivre à Stéphanie pour les travaux électriques pertinents en particulier pour la porte d’entrée. Dans le salon, il y a plusieurs solutions d’éclairage qui peuvent s’adapter aux besoins.

Très agréable villa
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour villa de fin d’année dans cette villa de caractère très agréable à vivre et décorée avec beaucoup de goût. Le propriétaire est charmant et ça a été un plaisir de traiter avec lui. Globalement la location est très fonctionnelle moyennant quelques petits ajustements, notamment au niveau du chauffage des chambres, un peu difficile à ajuster. L’été, avec la piscine, il doit faire bon y passer quelques jours. Par contre, la villa est prévue pour 4 personnes et n’est pas conçue pour plus. Dernier aspect intéressant, la proximité de Pézenas petite ville où il fait bon se promener. En conclusion, je recommande chaudement cette location.

Merci pour ce commentaire que nous prenons comme très positif, il reflète ce que nous avons voulu faire partager à nos visiteurs. Nous avons effectivement souhaité offrir le confort et l’espace pour quatre personnes plutôt que de multiplier les couchages, cependant un lit bébé est possible sur demande. Quant au chauffage qui est neuf, les ajustements seront évidemment réalisé dans la foulée. Au plaisir de vous recevoir à nouveau
